In Q2 2024, the top five music and audio apps in Sweden demonstrated a range of performance metrics across downloads, revenue, and active users. Data from Sensor Tower reveals interesting trends for these popular applications.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts experienced a steady revenue stream, peaking at approximately $29.2K in the final week of June. Weekly downloads showed a slight upward trend from 8.8K in early April to 9.6K by the end of June. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 2.3M mark throughout the quarter.

SoundCloud: Play Music & Songs saw a significant increase in weekly revenue, reaching $28.2K in the last week of June. Downloads peaked mid-quarter with 5.3K in the week of April 8, but saw a decline to 4.6K by the end of June. Active user numbers were highest in mid-May at 653K but decreased to around 591K by the end of the quarter.

JBL Headphones had consistent download numbers, starting at 2.7K in early April and rising to 3.3K by the end of June. Active users showed a slight increase, peaking at 13.7K in the final week of June.
